Picture this. You've completed the weekly wash and as you're pairing up socks for the drawer, you discover one or more have mysteriously disappeared. Sound familiar? Well, worry no more because a clever entrepreneur from San Francisco has devised a creative solution to this irritating phenomenon.

Writer-director Edwin Heaven is the inventor of THROX, the first socks to come in threes, so when you lose one you still have a pair. The Cure For The Missing Sock!

How clever is THROX? Readers' Digest Magazine in its prestigious "Best In America" issue gave it its "Best Innovation" award. Its inventor, Edwin Heaven, recently appeared on CNBC's The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch. And Brandweek Magazine, the marketing industry's bible, awarded THROX this year's "Best Solution." Considering that every washer/dryer has either a sock monster or some kind of Bermuda Triangle, three-socked THROX is one hell of solution.

Says THROX inventor, Edwin Heaven: "If tires come with a spare, why not socks? After all, three beats a pair every time."

duh! Now why didn't we think of that! it's 30 seconds to millions!

Tips to reduce the threat

  • Drive with your car door locked and be alert to your surroundings.

  • Always leave a space between your car and the vehicle in front. Be aware of vehicles traveling too close behind you. If you are bumped from behind, pull over in a well-lit area when there are other people. Wind your window down and try not to leave your car. Don't drive off unless you are in extreme danger.

  • Never leave the keys in the ignition when leaving your car, even for a second.

  • If threatened, hand over the keys. Do nothing to anger the attackers.

Straight to the Vein

If you have an odd hankering for hospital food,
then D.S Music Restaurant, a Taipei restaurant-bar with a medical theme, may appeal.

Customers sit around a hospital bed as drinks drip into their glasses from a vat suspended from the ceiling. At the bar in Shenzhen, China, staff dressed as nurses serve drinks from syringes and test tubes.

(02) 2587-3226 7, XinSheng N Rd, Sec 3 Hours: Sun-Thu 6 pm-2:30 am; Fri/Sat 6 pm-4 am Visa and Mastercard accepted. 10% service charge. MRT: MinQuan W Rd

A Taipei restaurant-bar is letting visitors order "medicine" from a menu and dripping it into their glasses from a transparent ceiling-suspended vat, becoming the latest oddball themed restaurant in Taiwan's capital.

As many as 10 visitors can sit around each bed at the D.S. Music Restaurant, a hospital-themed eatery, and watch showgirls dance on weekend nights or chat up "nurses" whose rabbit-ears complement their starched white uniforms.

The 130-seat restaurant, which features crutches hung from the walls and a wheelchair parked in the lobby, is the only one with a hospital theme in Taiwan.

Other touches include a sign marked "emergency room" leading to the toilets.

"Food is hard to compete on with other restaurants, so the part we emphasise is service," says assistant manager Ou Chia-hao, brother of the 29-year-old owner.

"In Taipei, pressure on people is high, and they want a place near home where they can feel relaxed."

How to Detect DODGY E-mails

When you reply to hoax e-mail, you give hackers the opportunity to obtain your IP address.

With this- and your password- a criminal could access files on your computer. Anti-virus software makes it harder to do this, but it's not foolproof.

Carole Theiralt from computer security firm Sophos says,

Users should never respond to an e-mail asking them to click on a link.

"Also watch out for warnings about potential scams, especially those advising you to pass the e-mail on. This could be a scam themselves."

"they" know i'm here and become more serious. Then I heard about the mural thing. a "girl" tell me she forget to bring water colour, crayon, ect.. so "they" want to go to a "girl" house to take it.. WHAT?! as I stood in silence, it's almost 10.30 a.m and now only "you girls" want to speak up? we wait, wait and wait. and around 11.30, we want to go home as there's nothing to do. BUSTED! You're cheating face

If you've ever had the sneaking suspicion someone was lying to you, you're instincts may well have been right.

Scientist at Hokkaido University in Japan took pictures of people playing "prisoners" dilemma" a game in which you either coorperate with a partner to share a prize to try to cheat them out of the reward. When these pictures were later shown to subjects in another experiment, they were more likely to remember the faces of cheats if they saw them a second time- suggesting we have a subconscious ability to detect a dishonest face.

Unite People of the World!!
Malay Subs by i1chocolat

"However, translating to Malay language is not as easy as it seems.
Malay language is a unique language.

The words and phrases are usually longer than any other language, making it harder to make sentences to fit (so that the lines won't go longer than two lines).

There are no help from Google translation tool or Yahoo! BabelFish, because both sites have yet to come with Malay translation.

There are numerous words that doesn't have its equivalent in Malay.

To translate it directly from English is impossible.
To translate it directly from other language is plain stupid.

The way English sentences are constructed is totally opposite from Malay."-i1chocolat

How can you feeling bored when you can do plenty things?
Besides, when there's Internet connection~!

Now, i'm gonna suggest you the links I usually stick on with,
+ my online friends promoted links =)

Online Games:

I'm just wondering..

Ok, here are the facts,
They don't.

Has anyone ever found the skeleton to a Unicorn? I've never heard about it!

Unicorns are creatures of legends and myths meaning that unicorns do not exist. Its a myth. Open a fairy tale book, you will see plenty that exist in that book..

I see it as a creature of elegance and great mystery, one of the mystical fantasys that have enchanted people for many centuries and will for many more to come. Enjoy your journey of enchantment with the mystical unicorn. Its a Unicorn simply any creature with one horn. It is a symbol of a positive virtue really. Harmony, strength, purity, innocence, speed, freedom, beauty, grace, magic, wisdom. There are Unicorn legends all around the globe:

Africa, India, Russia, China and Japan, Europe, and pre-and-post colonial America.
There have been sightings and encounters with mermaids and fairies from all over the planet.

There's a story where there has only been one sighting of a unicorn and that was from a Roman visiting Africa. It's very likely he was trying to describe a rhino, oh yeahhh~

p/s: Anyhow, depends. Are you willing to believe in them? Mermaids, perhaps?

Fear of Beards

Symptoms of Pogonophobia - Fear of beards:
breathlessness, excessive sweating, nausea, dry mouth, feeling sick, heart palpitations, inability to speak or think clearly, a fear of dying, becoming mad or losing control, a sensation of detachment from reality or a full blown anxiety attack.

You are not the only one to suffer from this phobia. Most sufferers are surprised to learn that they are far from alone in this surprisingly common, although often unspoken, phobia.

Pogonophobia is an intense fear of something that poses no actual danger. While adults with Pogonophobia realize that these fears are irrational, they often find that facing, or even thinking about facing, the feared situation brings on a panic attack or severe anxiety.

There is a Way Out!

Imagine what your life will be like when you know that you are not "defective". When you can be confident and at ease in situations where you used to feel your phobia. And when you can talk about your former fear symptoms as though you are describing a movie where the character is someone else, not you. Share your phobia here!

My Fairytales :Here With Me:

"Living in a fairytale isn't all it's cracked up to be"

I'm glad he be my companion; because Ulya can't come for certain reasons and i was dying inside to ask EVERYONE! i've even asked Alia & Dzaleha! ha! i couldn't believe myself either! Before the competion, which signing up, i met this guy wearing Bendahara clothes, he didn't join but he organized it. I can't elaborate more on his name but look,
really a nice guy o~! *blushing* he watched & helped me for the whole day! leng zhai some more! I'm really fortune! as for that, i really wanted to know, at lease, his name! (sadly, he don't have yellow tag..) ='(

18th July 2008; Friday

Fantastic Friday! Whoopededooo~ fantastic enough, eh? Mr. Ong didn't come (although Friday don't have English class.. hehe), and we were lining up at the Foyer C for 45 minutes (2.30 p.m- 3.15 p.m!) usually we don't line up like a bullshit doing nothing. But, Pn. Rajinder told a day before to line up! And we were.. !@#$%^&*.. this is the first time of the year & we were !@#$%^&* but just imagine about other students from different classes!

17th July 2008; Thursday

They were DOOMED! not me/fatin but THEM! (we fought with Afifah) somehow there's a matter about History teacher as well as KKQ teacher. guys especially. & not forgetting the girls. Even morning session disipline teacher, Pn. Fauziah showed up in the afternoon session to lecture OUR CLASS! + BM teacher, Pn. Rabiah + Agama teacher, Ustz. Sulwani and I was disappointed (eventhough i know there's nothing to do with me.. but it does involves me as a CLASSMATES) ='(

16th July 2008; Wednesday

It was a sunny day.. and English class! Mr. Ong!!! haha. I like him , though there's a lot of THEM kind of ostracized him, but eh, who cares? I like him full stop. Since he's a practical teacher from UM so his lecturer came. his lecturer, Indian guy, kind of interested me ect. and that time Mr. Ong gave us something about promoting products. He did gave us pieces of newspaper to do. And we got CARS! "How can we girls know about it clearly?" asked my friends. (It's a group work) So, Indian guy came to me, (i think i'm the first student he came to) and asked warmly, "Do you know where is Hyundai came from? And my answer was, "Oh yes, it' from Korea) and he replied "Oh very good! Clever girl" and slowly walked away with his smile on his face. I knew it because i've been to Korea & have once heard from the agent that Hyundai is one of the most best sold cars, apart for that I got brothers whom are CAR FREAK! and proudly announce that i've been encouraged to LOVE CARS! *sometimes when there was only them and all i only hear is ALL ABOUT CARS and i think i'm getting INTERESTED now. =D

Hyundai Car

So, when the Indian guy finished and walked outside the class, Mr. Ong came to ME!!!! (my desk) haha! Me, myself couldn't believe it either! AND THIS IS THE MOST UNBELIEVABLE PART! "Thanks for the corporation" said Mr. Ong softly, unexpectedly with a smile + he's only 5mm from my face! and i got courage to say he'd only thanked me [?] XD

13th July; Sunday

I was at my village, missed my English tuition but it wasn't. My home tuition teacher got short term memories. She didn't even show up, nor SMS. Poor others waited. They woke up early for the class; 9.00 a.m. =)

12th July; Saturday

After Mandarin tuition, my parents invited me to go back to hometown. Happy? Dissapointed? hm, 50-50. My folio haven't done, yet!!!

11 th July; Friday

This was an UNBELIEVABLE day! [kind of, haha!] Fatin apologies to me that she didn't mind both of us.. through SMS! and first SMS, i had replied it so I though no more will be send to me. As I walk in the tuition class, I heard like, "Correct, correct, correct.. A, a.. correct, correct, correct" and the class went quite for a second [some kind of action to detect where it came from] & ALL were laughing like a (T_T) I waited 12 seconds to finish the ring tones to save face! After class, usually I watch TV with my cousins, brothers.. but I don't. I called Fatin & we talked for 13 minutes!

7-1oth July; Monday-Thursday

Fatin hadn't talk, ect ect to me for the past few days. [for the WHOLE WEEK!] I didn't know what I did wrong, so I silently understood that she can't or wouldn't talk to me, Afifah either. So we all went quite.. But, there was a annoying fella who was talking all day long to me about guys, politics, erhh something that BORING & she kept on repeating the same topic, FOR THE WHOLE DAY! just imagine it! Why is ''John Doe" used to refer to unidentified people?

Anyone who has read a detective novel or seen a cops-and-robbers movie has heard the name "John Doe" used to describe an unidentifiable victim or suspect.

Wondering Why?

As early as the 18th century, the name "John Doe" was used in British courts to represent imaginary tenant being evicted from land whose ownership was ambiguous or disputed.

"John Doe" (as well as Jane Doe) is still used in North American courts whenever a person is unknown, or cannot be named in order to protect their privacy.
